I’m a Mazda owner since 1982 and I wouldn’t replace those vehicles for any other. I’ve gone through many Mazda models – Mazda 626, Mazda 3 and two Mazda 6 cars (second and third generation). I can’t imagine driving anything else, as the comfort and security it provides is unmatched even by other Japanese car manufacturers.
But what is so great about my Mazda 6, aside from the aforementioned comfort and safety? I think the ease of driving is the main advantage Mazda has over other vehicles, but there is something else. Something less apparent, less obvious, yet very important – the cost of maintenance, which is so low it sometimes seems absurd. Mazda cars overall, and Mazda 6 in particular, just don’t want to break, and if something needs repairing, it’s surprisingly easy to do it yourself. Maybe a couple of years ago it would be hard to find a part for the vehicle, but now new and used Mazda parts can be easily found on the Internet and even most workshops specialized in Japanese cars have them in stock. That’s why I love my Mazda – it will serve me well for years, when other cars will end on a junkyard.
